I have been listening since about this time in 2015, so about seven years. and I started listening right after I got into graduate school. so I just wanted to say thank you to you all for getting me through my dissertation and everything. and I'm officially a doctor as of May but I just got a chance to call in. but anyways love you guys love your work. Thank you. Thank you. and I got my PhD in public health. and I just want to say thank you for all your good coverage of covid and especially the opioid crisis. I'm also an addict and have lost friends to Fentanyl. and I actually have a funny story about going to rehab in Texas. I went to a place up in Dallas and they actually showed us a prageru video as part of our instructional time. Can you [ __ ] believe that? that's just. it was Unreal. What was it about such a tantrum? oh it was about? like basically not believing in yourself and falling for your dreams. It was with Mike Rowe from Dirty Jobs. and it was basically like a certain percentage of our population has to like you know be in the service sector or whatever and do shitty jobs. And that is more likely going to be you so you shouldn't follow your dreams. it was so [ __ ] up. You know, like I said, I have a friend who's a teacher and she was teaching a course. I mean it's really not like a really interesting course for high school. It was sort of like some reader reinterpretation of an incredibly misogynist story. I can't remember this like blue blood or something like. I can't remember. What is BlueBeard? yeah Bluebeard. and principal came in ostensibly to you know critique her pedagogy. and was like have you thought about it like maybe giving the other side like Jordan Peterson? and the things I like, I don't like, it's impossible for me in a million years. I would have never guessed that somebody is playing prageru as some type of like you know sort of self-help type of thing. but the more I hear stories like this I'm convinced it's everywhere. and the thing is like I try to imagine like if I knew a billionaire and I could go like hey man give me because like Prager you got like some gift of like 15 million dollars to do all this stuff.
