This one took all told three or four times longer than my normal tracks. Started out as a 80s metal like riff and tone. My brother created over some bass that I had put down. He then came up with the great lead which in truth is the hook of the entire song.

I wanted to do something that I started in Come On Girl. In that song I did a medley of metal core then more melodic then in to rock then into synth pop. I really liked the result. However this time I wanted to take this one step further and combine synth pop synth melodies and counter melodies with the growling guitars.

The transition between verse and chorus is my first time using a matal core whisper I'm not sure if I just invented a new way to do metal core lol. I wanted to just do a whisper but come up with that grit and edge. The chorus is inspired by Snap The Power rap artists in how he used his vocals to do his rap with my own twist.

The symphonic strings really work well in the track to and I am very happy with a fusion of about five or six genres. It's really been fun to explore what is possible beyond conventional song making.

Guitar used was Ibanez for the rhythm and PRS for the lead. Everything else bar vocals from the AKAI MPC live 2. I also used the MPC Live 2 to produce mix and master the track.
