Adorable newborn TamanDua takes her first steps

This is the moment adorable baby Taman Dua takes her first steps at her Point Defiance Zoo and Aquarium in Tacoma, WA is. It's been weeks since the zookeeper kept him healthy. Also in respiratory disease. Footage from

This comes after she was rehabilitated by a veterinarian who determined she was suffering from a respiratory illness that caused her to lose weight rapidly. Baby Tamandua has doubled in size and weighed 1.8 pounds in the last few weeks.
She managed to regain her weight after zookeepers gave her supplements and gave her antibiotics.

Tamandua is a species of anteater native to Central and South America, with a tongue he grows up to 16 inches long.
