Acclaimed artist and comic book icon for many years, Kevin O'Neill has sadly passed away at 65, according to a blog post from Gosh Comics. O’Neill was the co-creator of The League of Extraordinary Gentlemen alongside writer Alan Moore in 1999, but is perhaps best known for his work on the long-running British anthology comic magazine 2000 AD, of which he was a part of since it began.
