Battle of Beaversdam, War of 1812

Visited the memorial for the Battle of Beaversdam (June 24, 1813) where a foce of Indigenous Natives forced the surrender of 500 Americans. This also launched the legend of Laura Secord, who walked from her home in Queenston to warn the British at DeCew House.
