Coco Coir and orchid roots are a match made in heaven, as this pot full of great orchids roots prove! I am changing the set up of this orchid from coco coir to leca and self watering, because my collection is based on inorganic growing. Coco Coir did a great job at keeping the orchid happy, along with the correct pH levels, allowing the orchid to have access to all the nutrients in the fertilizer solution, while it was still being cultivated in the nursery pot that had coco coir as the media. #orchids #orchidcare #repottingorchids #transition #leca #selfwatering #new #subscribe
