Ned Kelly was the leader of Australian bushranger gang who famously made his improvised armour, but in the end was the last man standing (barely). He seriously wounded and captured. Kelly was tried, convicted and sentenced to death by hanging, which was carried out at the Old Melbourne Gaol.

There is some degraded film, but this only lasts a few seconds, before clearing up.
This is the the short version (about 1 reel). There is another reel available however it didn't fit.
