Strength, courage, bravery, natural leadership, intelligence, spirit of collaboration and dedication. The lioness manages to reunite all these attributes together, although threatened with extinction unfortunately, the cats are currently only seen on the African continent, with the exception of the Asian lion which is protected in a park in India. In Africa, the population of these cats has reduced to 20,000; almost 50 years ago, there was a doubling of the population. The lioness is responsible for hunting and leading the pack, they live in a hierarchy system, having a lioness who leads the rest of the pack, are often expelled from the pack by another younger lioness or who wins the leadership position in the fight and takes rank or are forced to step aside, to hide their cubs from lions expelled from another pack. Their communal spirit allows them to breastfeed cubs of other lionesses of the same flock. Few animals care more about their offspring than lionesses. In addition to being a born predator, we are facing a dedicated, courageous mammal with unusual perseverance.
