Preserving Balboa Park's Spanish architecture in 1967

Committee chairman…Mrs. Frank Evenson, said the members are concerned with maintaining the unique Spanish Colonial style that dates back to the 1915 Exposition. Retired bank executive Anderson Borthwick was one of a dozen persons who discussed the project to preserve and restore the structures and renovate the interiors…much as the Junior League…with city help…has done in recent weeks with the House of Hospitality itself.
