Fissile material production ongoing at Yongbyon Nuclear Scientific Research Center: 38 North

북한, 핵물질 계속 생산"…영변시설에 차량•인력 이동 활발

Satellite imagery shows the regime is continuing fissile material production at the Yongbyon Nuclear Scientific Research Center.
According to 38 North, vehicles and personnel continue to move about the complex.
Activity detected at the Reactor is at relatively normal levels, including continued water discharge into the Kuryong River, indicating the reactor has been operational since July 2021.
The U.S.-based North Korea monitoring website also mentioned that new buildings are added.
They could be the regime's systematic approach to upgrading key facilities.
