Malaysia's Klang Valley and several states hit by power outage

Several cities across Malaysia suffered from power outages on the afternoon of July 27 for almost two hours. This included the Klang Valley and main terminal of Kuala Lumpur International Airport. Local media also reported blackouts in some parts of Pahang, Ipoh, Seremban, Penang, Kedah, and Johor. After investigations, Malaysia’s multinational electricity company Tenaga Nasional Berhad (TNB) found that the supply disruption was caused by a fault in one of the equipment at a substation in Yong Peng, Johor.
