Vladimir Putin, the president of Russia, is unlikely to travel to Bali for the G20 summit.

President Joko Widodo (Jokowi) made this revelation in an interview with international media that was released on Monday, July 11.

President Jokowi noted that unsettling international tensions cast a shadow on the G20 summit of world leaders.

He highlighted that the G20 summit is for the economy and growth, not politics.

Russia will be welcomed in Indonesia, according to Jokowi, at the G20 Summit on November 15–16.

For information's sake, Putin stated last month that he was thinking about attending the G20 summit.

He then declared that he would send a representative if he was unable to attend.
