You Don't Know Me Without the Right Words

Sometimes the more you know, actually the less you know so we sally forth into today's Segue City Special featuring Alison Krauss and Union Station with Billy Joel that works on several levels. Social media is fascinating to us as it allows everybody to live out that prediction that Andy Warhol made decades ago about how everyone would get 15 minutes of fame... but he didn't go further in his prediction about what happens after your 15 minutes are up... a lot of people don't want to relinquish the stage after their 15 minutes are up... then what?

Segue City is a recurring short-form programming element. At some point it will be a part of "The Big Kahuna." That’s an Internet Radio format that’s a part of Global Entertainment Technology that was created by Dain L. Schult.

It revives the art of mixing two songs together in a seamless pattern where it is tough to tell where the first song ended and the second one began. Sometimes the segues may also revolve around thematic ideas like matching or similar song titles.

Other times there are hidden meanings and Easter Eggs in the mix as well. We'll try anything because no two Segue City Specials will ever be exactly the same...
