Anti-war protests have erupted across Russian cities after Vladimir Putin announced a partial mobilisation in Russia.

Large groups were seen chanting ‘no to war’ and ‘no to mobilisation’ as police violently broke up apprehended the demonstrators. According to the Russian human rights group OVD-Info, more than 1,000 people have been arrested across the country.
