Thailand’s ‘floating train’ attracts flocks of tourists in post-monsoon season

Hundreds of passengers rode a “floating train” on November 6, 2022, passing through one of the country’s largest water reservoirs in central Thailand. Passengers can enjoy the illusion of aquatic rail travel due to an unusual post-monsoon rise in water levels. The route starts in the Thai capital Bangkok, passing through the Pasak Jolasid Dam in Lopburi province, six hours away.
