Presidential Thinking

Once again, we are about in what’s loosely termed an election cycle.
The most noise being made at this early date is on the issues of abortion and the economy. Both are quite important to be sure.
The #1 priority for any President must be National Security. There is deafening silence on national defense at this time.
There is a reason for this. Few of the candidates in the past several decades had any clue at all about National Affairs – much less Military Preparedness. Any they did have was purely academic.
Trump most certainly does not define conservatives. So why did he get the vote. Why is he still supported. He did some good things while in office. His behavior suggests he may not be the best that America has to offer.
Can't teach people to shut up. Even when they're ahead. Trump epitomizes this lesson. He is his own worst enemy.
