Sydney, Australia is Gorgeous. When it comes to large cities, Sydney is probably one of the nicest I've been to. The Royal Botanical Gardens are incredible and right near downtown so if you get sick of the cars and buildings, you can escape quickly to the gardens and enjoy some peace and nature. The Opera House is a neat building but I found it wasn't as clean and white as in all the movies.
