Spain is in the middle of an ice shortage, with the war in Ukraine thought to be partly to blame.

As temperatures rise, ice supplies run low, with some shops limiting the amount that customers can buy.

Producers have said that rising electricity costs saw a delay to the production of ice this year, with storage costs for stockpiling said to be “unsustainable”.
