Former members of ruling party launch new political party | Thailand news |NewsRme

Former ministers from the ruling party created a new political party on Wednesday. Former
finance minister Uttama Savanayana and former energy minister Sontirat Sonthijirawong
founded Sang Anakot Thai, or Building Thailand's Future.
Suvit Maesincee, the former minister of higher education, science, and innovation, and Kobsak
Pootrakul, the former minister of the prime minister's office, joined them.
After a leadership transition inside the pro-military party's executive board in June 2020, all four
of them, collectively known as the "Four Boys," resigned from the ruling Palang Pracharath
Party.
