We all know Albert Wesker survived the Tyrant's claw - but what if he didn't? It seems that was the original plan in a scrapped version of RE2 (called Resident Evil 1.5 ) where his corpse would have transformed into a recurring boss monster called Golgotha. When the RE2 project started over, it was decided William Birkin should be the boss instead - leaving Wesker free to one day become a superhuman spaghetti monster.
