Revisiting the gold mine fight of Thailand

This week, parliamentarians informed reporters that a parliamentary committee will request
clarification from the Department of Primary Industries and Mines on the government's decision
to allow Australia's Kingsgate Consolidated to reopen the Chatree gold mine in northern
Thailand.
