The US and Germany reject Turkish claims about Greek sovereignty | Turkey News | NewsRme

Overnight, German Ambassador to Greece Ernst Reichel took to Twitter to make it clear that Germany does not support any challenges to Greece's sovereignty or territorial integrity.
This comes just two days after a junior member of Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan's government, Devlet Bahceli, was photographed holding a map that showed large Greek islands, like Crete, as being Turkish.
Greek Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis tweeted a question to Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan, which was shared by American Ambassador to Greece Richard Reichel.
