Behind the Scenes Technology for "Pepe's Plight"

Josh Campbell designed "Pepe's Plight" to accurately reflect the motion of the ocean. Each wave was laser cut from wood and then hand painted. He constructed multiple moving elements and 3D printed every gear. The entire diorama is powered by a single motor, and the addition of LED lighting and creative coding is the foundation to a stormy forecast.
