On Monday, the flooding in Ayutthaya province hit at least 15,696 households as officials reported to Thai Enquirer. Victims who are in remote places are still waiting for assistance and support from the government.

Since 2011, this was the worst flood happening in the province. As per the reports from the officials, the floods have hit 16 districts in Ayutthaya.

Among the most affected four districts in the Ayutthaya in the downstream of the Chao Phraya Dam, include, Sena, Phak Hai, Bang Sai, and Bang Ban.

It was reported to the Thai Enquirer by the Royal Irrigation Department that they are setting up water pumps for speedy drainage as they expect monsoon storms between October 5th to 8th, in the central region.

On Monday, the Governor of Bangkok, Aswin Kwanmuang, said that the authorities are making speedy arrangements and the flood situation is under control, and the water level has not changed and there is no possibility that it will rise up to a critical point.
