BIR raids illegal vape traders’ warehouse in Tondo, Manila

Bureau of Internal Revenue (BIR), led by deputy commissioner Jun Lumagui, raids a warehouse in Tondo Manila on November 4, 2022, confiscating thousands units of vapes from alleged illegal vape traders not complying with excise tax payments. Lumagi said that the government is losing some P1.4 billion in revenue due to the trade of illicit vapes. (MB Video by Gilbert Prinsipe)
