Self filmed Illinois archery buck down! Wow! Another year has gone by! Join us for today's NEAR LIVE deer camp episode #4 coming at you from our Southern Illinois farm! Today, my son, Alan and his buddy Justin, made the road trip down to Southern Illinois all the way from Vermont, (Yes Vermont!) down to our Southern Illinois modern homestead to kick off the 2022 Illinois archery deer season! Join us for a fun behind the scenes vlog as I give the boys their first land management task to clean up the high volume water pump that I have been using to water one of my food plots using my farm pond as a watering source. Of course there will be some unique behind the scenes action as the boys are just starting to unwind from their Rat Race career's and stress and begin to unwind here on our rural Southern Illinois farm! Stay tuned for the full hunting video of Justin's self filmed harvest of a really nice Southern Illinois 8 point buck, coming out soon!
We've had a few nice bucks on trail cams so far that could be shooter bucks form my son Alan, and his buddy Justin, both of which made the trip down from Vermont! While I am not quite Midwest Whitetail (I love Bill Winke's show and have learned a ton from it), I do like the challenges of trying hunt and self video tape the hunts and wildlife. Even though it cost me a 180" buck last year, I am back at it again! Yep, stubborn.... Lets see how the first deer hunt of 2022 goes! Join us for some fresh air, and wildlife enjoyment on this sit and definitely stay tuned!
