Severely matted dogs under SPCA care | Niagara SPCA Shelter Medical

After their owner died, these little guys found themselves in the care of the Niagara SPCA & Humane Society's Welland shelter. The matting on their fur was so severe it had to be cut away with scalpels under sedation. The dogs will need dental work and the smaller of the two actually was missing one paw and the bone connecting the other paw to the leg was completely gone. Care for animals like these is supported by the generous donations of our community.
