Hawks confirm investigation into Tokyo Sexwale's allegations

The Hawks have confirmed that an investigation is under way into allegations of theft of money at Reserve Bank made by ANC veteran Tokyo Sexwale. Sexwale made news headlines this week with claims that funds meant for infrastructure development and educating the poor, have been stolen. He says the money was deposited under what he calls a 'White Spiritual Boy Trust Fund' under the watch of the Reserve Bank. The Reserve Bank and the National Treasury have dismissed Sexwale's claims and say that he may have fallen victim to a scam.
