India-Japan Bilateral Marine Exercise : JIMEX – Daily Current News I Drishti IAS

The fifth edition of the India-Japan maritime bilateral exercise (JIMEX) was conducted in the Arabian Sea from October 6-8. It was a three day bilateral exercise which concluded today. The two navies carried out operations which were focused on various dimensions of maritime operations including surface and subsurface as well as the air domain.JIMEX-21 aims to enhance interoperability through the conduct of a multitude of advanced exercises.
