On October 29th, 2022, at approximately 1:00 AM, The Auto Crimes Enforcement (A.C.E.) and Zone 4 Field Investigations Team (F.I.T.) were alerted to a vehicle associated to a male suspect wanted for multiple murders (by Atlanta Police Dept. and East Point P.D.) and wanted for other violent crimes in Fulton and Dekalb Counties.

Officers relocated to the area where the alert was received and located the subject’s car, a 2010 Ford Crown Victoria, traveling along Fairburn Rd. SW. Officers attempted a traffic stop on the vehicle. Upon stopping at a nearby gas station, a male believed to be the wanted suspect, exited the vehicle, and fled from officers on foot. Officers were able to detain the suspect after a brief foot pursuit.

The suspect was positively identified as Jadarius Carr (DOB 12/97). Officers recovered a firearm and multiple cell phones from Carr’s possession during his arrest. We’d like to commend our officers for their quick response and for apprehending this dangerous suspect without incident. Thanks to their efforts, this repeat offender is now behind bars and the city of Atlanta is a little safer.

Carr was charged with the following: Possession of a Firearm by a Convicted Felon and Obstruction. In addition, Carr had multiple outstanding arrest warrants: Arrest Warrant for Aggravated Assault with a Weapon issued on 3/2/2022 by the Fulton CO SO
Arrest Warrant for an Aggravated Assault (Strangulation) issued on 9/8/2022 by the Dekalb CO SO

Homicide Warrant issued on 10/19/2022 by the East Point PD,
Homicide Warrant issued on 10/19/2022 by the Atlanta PD,
