SEEKING THE GOOD WITHIN THE MONDAY'S OF LIFE

THROUGH DOING IT ALL FOR GOD!!! GOOD EVENING IN YESHUA EVERYONE!!!

You guys might find this rather strange, but whenever I read this passage of scripture, for some reason I think of Garfield the cat. Garfield is a cat that eats lasagna, watches TV, sleeps with his teddy bear, picks on Odie, but also doesn't like Mondays. He's actually been quoted as saying that he's allergic to them! I have to admit I find that humorous, but I can relate to it a bit, which is why I was really challenged as well as my heart was deeply thinking about these questions from this morning's devotional today. What I'd like to do guys is share these questions with you tonight, and I pray that God will challenge you through them. Please read these questions carefully and I pray that God will speak to you through them.

What gives you the Monday blues?

Interesting question, isn't it? I really thought about that question as I was reading this passage of scripture, and I remember the days in which I was working and the struggles I had. But one thing I remembered was that whatever I do I want to do it for God, and that's what I'd like to share with you tonight through this vlog. I pray that what I share with you, will encourage you to see that God is working his goodwill and way in your life, through whatever work you do, and that you choose to give Him all the glory, honor, and praise in what you do for Him. So, gang, as I close this post for tonight, I want to leave you with this final question from this morning's devotional, and I pray that it helps you to realize that in whatever you do, even in the most mundane, tedious, and yes disgusting thing that you're doing for a job, that you can with God's help find satisfaction in it.

How will you lean on God’s help to find satisfaction in your work today?

I pray that you start every day with God first place and all that you say and do. I pray that you treat your job as an opportunity to be a witness for Him, do that job with all your might for the Lord, and that you give every bit of yourself to your job, because you're ultimately working for Him! Most of all I pray that you will ask God to help you see the good that He’s enabling you to accomplish through your job, whether it's working in McDonald's, a Macy's, a hospital, or even in a corporate office! Ask God to help you put Him first and all you say and do on the job, and make sure that you're doing your job for HIS honor and glory!
