THE RESTORATION WRENCH FROM WW2. EXTREMELY RARE ADJUSTABLE WRENCH

Greetings my dear viewer!
This wrench was found at the sites of the great battles for Stalingrad!

RECOVERY PROCESS
I was curious to find any marks on this wrench! So I started with a very soft brush! But 100 years underground gave such a result. Only thick metal survived. Even the handle is completely rotted.

It was found really buried in the ground, in a deep rut, with the help of a metal detector.
My friend gave it to me without hope of recovery, as it was a solid ingot of rust!

I kept the adjustable wrench in a special acid for more than a day to remove the rust a little. After numerous attempts, the handle moved a little. Then it got a little easier. I sanded the entire surface, removed deep shells from corrosion with a welding machine and sanded.

I ordered a new handle, made a drawing and sent it to a familiar metal specialist! It turned out great in my opinion!

Throughout the restoration, I kept thinking about what this key would tell me if it could. In what battles did its owner participate, what did he feel, what did he think about. What terrible events he saw, what terrible actions he did not of his own free will, but only following someone's order.

I feel so lucky to be able to touch our history and, of course, give new life to this rare wrench from World War II.

WAR IS BIG PAIN FOR THE WHOLE WORLD!
The longer past events remain in memory, the greater the likelihood that they will not be repeated again. You must remember your history and not repeat the mistakes of our previous generations!
