Worst drought in Somalia uproots nearly 1 million from home

A catastrophic drought has pushed communities to the brink of famine in the Horn of Africa region displacing nearly 1 million people in the country. Most of the internally displaced live in difficult conditions in urban and peri-urban settings with very low chances of returning home as the region faces its worst drought in 40 years.
