It has been close to three years and a family still has no answers regarding a missing loved one. Marshal Iwaasa was last seen in Lethbridge in November of 2019. On November 18th of this year family members will be holding a vigil for Iwaasa at Legacy Park in Lethbridge to spread awareness of his disappearance. Tammy Johnson, Iwaasa’s mother, says the smallest detail could help them crack open the case and be ever closer to finding her son.

"To know nothing new is coming up, and that's hard. The not knowing is very, very difficult. There hasn't been anything new come forward, but it's not from lack of people trying. Right? Warwick Printing Company here in Lethbridge donated thousands of posters and thousands of bumper stickers. So we've been able to spread awareness in a big way because of them."

Lethbridge Police say Iwaasa’s burnt truck was found at the end of a logging road in a remote area in BC’s backcountry near Pemberton on November 23rd of 2019. Police say there is currently no new information on the case and the file remains open.
