Elon Reeve Musk (born June 28, 1971) is a business magnate and investor. Elon Musk cofounded six companies including electric car maker Tesla, rocket producer SpaceX and tunneling startup Boring Company. As the co-founder and CEO of Tesla, Elon leads all product design, engineering and global manufacturing of the company's electric vehicles, battery products and solar energy products. As lead designer at SpaceX, Elon oversees the development of rockets and spacecraft for missions to Earth orbit and ultimately to other planets. Previously, Elon co-founded and sold PayPal, the world's leading Internet payment system. With an estimated net worth of around $195 billion as of November 4, 2022, Musk is the wealthiest person in the world according to both the Bloomberg Billionaires Index and Forbes's real-time billionaires' list. Musk was born and grew up in Pretoria, South Africa. He attended the University of Pretoria before moving to Canada at age 17, acquiring citizenship through his Canadian-born mother.

Ron Baron is the CEO of Baron Funds, a money management firm he founded in 1982; it manages about $60 billion. Baron owns one of the biggest estates in the Hamptons, which he assembled from 2001 to 2009 at a total cost of $152 million. It's worth much more now. The son of an engineer (dad) and purchasing agent (mom) for the federal government, Baron wanted to be a doctor but didn't get into medical school. He studied chemistry at Bucknell University and attended George Washington University Law School at night on scholarship. His first job out of school was with the United States Patent Office. Baron worked for several brokerage firms from 1970 to 1982. Ron Baron is a Wall St veteran who began as a junior stock analyst. Some of his early clients were the other rising stars of Wall Street: names like Peter Lynch, Julian Robertson and George Soros. In 1982 Ron struck out on his own, founding Baron Capital Management, a registered investment advisor, which led to the Baron family of funds.
