Grandma Yeung is the most venerated villain-hitter under the Canal Road Flyover in Wan Chai. For the past ten years, Yeung has been providing 'da siu yan (villain-hitting)' services to Hong Kongers who want to be rid of bothersome 'petty persons' by participating in a traditional Cantonese ritual that sacrifices a specific set of paper effigies (including a yellow paper tiger). In this video, the 78 year-old villain-hitting master tells The Post about her past, how she entered the trade, and what she thinks about this particular form of folk witchcraft.
