diculopathy is inflammation or compression of an intervertebral nerve root. Radiculopathy develops for various reasons.
Disc herniation is the most common cause of radiculopathy. Usually this occurs with aging, when the intervertebral disc becomes dry and its edges are more likely to crack.
Osteophytes in the spine can also cause compressio
