"Stand-up comedian, former film critic and yes, of course, failed film director, Simon Kingsley-Holmes is embarking on his first book, both a history and a study of New Zealand Horror films and filmmakers. Simon has had a fascination with horror films ever since his Mum wouldn't let him watch any and he lost sleep over a poster for 'The Texas Chain Saw Massacre'. Now he seeks to shed light upon a neglected corner of world cinema and see what sickening delights this country has to offer."
