The Enemy Within Your Heart Will Deceive You?

How many times in your life have you heard the saying “Follow your heart”.

We hear it in movies all the time, a mother telling her child “Follow your heart it will guide you and never lead you astray?”

That is the advice of the world “Follow your heart?”

The Bible has something to say about all this “Follow your heart” nonsense?

Jer 17:9 The heart is deceitful above all things, and desperately wicked: who can know it?

Jeremiah tells us that our heart is in league with the Devil?

He says our heart will deceive us at every turn.

He says that our heart is wicked and desires wicked pleasures?

How many men have divorced their wives and how many wives have divorced their husbands because they were following their hearts?

If it feels good do it, another satanic lie? Of course sin feels good, if it didn't we we would not do it.

Gen 8:21a And the LORD smelled a sweet savor; and the LORD said in his heart, I will not again curse the ground any more for man's sake; for the imagination of man's heart is evil from his youth.

We have a sin problem because we have a heart problem?

How many people have gone into debt buying something they couldn't afford?

Simply because their heart told them 'You deserve this?”

Some will say “But is felt right at the time?

We are to base all our decisions on prayer, Gods word, and common sense!
