Cafe "Polygon" caught fire at night in Kostroma, where there were more than 250 people inside

The fire at the nightclub happened after fireworks began to go off on the dance floor to celebrate a birthday. Almost immediately after the pyrotechnics went off, several people jumped on the culprit, but the fire had already begun to spread.

There were a lot of people in the club. Immediately after the emergence of smoke, the place began to be jammed and panic-all the people rushed to the exits.

According to witnesses more victims were avoided due to the fact that one of the visitors, 40-year-old Andrei Kuzmin, kicked the locked door. An evacuation began through it as well.
