Go back to Africa!' ‘Racist’ heckling at French parliamentary session

— On yesterday, November 3, 2022, the Session of French National Assembly was halted over an controversial and unexpected incident

As the French-African MP Carlos Martens Bilongo, which is of 🇦🇴🇨🇩 Angolan-DRC ancestry, of the Left-wing France Unbowed party (La France Insoumise) made remarks at the status of migrants stranded on the Ocean Viking Vessel in the Mediterranean, a MP of Right-wing National Rally, supposedly Mr. Grégoire de Fournas, shouted at him to "Go Back to Africa"

Such a statement opened another controversial episode in French politics, with some considering that the Right MP would refer to the illegal migrants, who mostly come from North Africa, while Mr. Carlos Bilongo, thinking it was a "racist and xenophobic attack" against the leftist parliamentarian.
