This week we are checking out the ARxVision smart glasses! A bone conduction wearable device which pairs with its own app to provide useful information for those with low or no vision!

Armed with their expertise in assistive technology, Cory and Luke demonstrate the various features of this device including: short text, scanning full documents, reading non-standard documents, various object identification, facial recognition as well as scene description.

There are two cameras built into the ARxVision, this means it has the capacity to utilize distance as a metric for description. Although this feature is not currently supported, like most technology these days the ARxVison is expected to receive regular improvements via future software updates. As these developments occur, Vision Forward's Tech Connect will bring you the information you need to make the most out of your device. For this and other content be sure to subscribe!

How exactly does the ARxVision stacks up against the competition? Stick around until the end of the video for our wrap up review! Our experts know there are many factors to consider, so if you have any follow up questions post them in the comments and we will help you find the assistive tech that's best for you.

Already own the ARxVision? Great! Follow along with your own device and post your thoughts in the comments below! Would you recommend this over specific alternatives? Was there anything you found surprising about using the device? Any glaring problems with the design or software? We want to hear all about it down in the comments!
