the squad alive and fighting. They can keep their teammates alive for long periods of time and restore their life expectancy through quick first aid and medical kits. While they are able to take the lead in combat with their medium-range weapons, the medic's real weapon is their syringe, which can give first aid to teammates much more quickly and efficiently than the new non-medics.
