Quiet quitting might be all the rage in the USA, but here in Nicaragua it is far more about loud, obvious quitting more than anything. People seem to quit their jobs with, pun intended, reckless abandon(ment.) It's weird how in a country where jobs are so hard to come by that people are so often so careless with ones that they have that giving them up is seen as some sort of protest - sometimes not even directed at the job!
