Stereotype Anomaly Plays - E28 - Mega Man X3 (1995)

Finally, a Mega Man game that nearly broke me. It feels like I chose the wrong configuration using the Hellraiser cube and Pinhead popped out immediately telling me that he'll "tear my soul apart" by sitting me in front of a SNES with Mega Man X3 playing, on repeat, until the end of my miserable existence. What I'm referring to us the final boss. Holy cow, was he challenging, even with rewind! I must've missed some important upgrades or something because he was ripping me a new one. What made it worse was at the very end, I beat the final boss with like 2 units of life left only to discover it wasn't over! I had to awkwardly climb a wall with lava beneath me, plus Sigma's crappy 3-D face trolling me. It was impossible to beat! I had to start over again just to carry over a bit more life to make it up that vertical shaft! Rumor is, Capcom's "B-Team" worked on this title as the main Mega Man X team was working on the first PSX entry, X4. So we shall see if I enjoy X4 or not, I have never played it. Hopefully it's not as painful as X3! To be fair, my troubles really didn't begin until the very end of the game, so other than that, I enjoyed the game. And holy crap, this game is worth like $471.47 used!
