Scandal’ revealed in Victoria’s child protection services

A “scandal” in Victoria has seen 65 children die whilst known to Victoria’s child protection services in 2019-2020, according to The Australian’s Victorian Editor Damon Johnston.
According to data released by the Victorian Coroners Court, 26 of the 65 fatalities involved a boy or girl in active contact with child protection authorities.
“This has been going on for years and it just hasn’t been fixed,” Mr Johnston told Sky News host Peta Credlin.
“This is just not good enough.”

I have several horror stories about my experience with DHHS now DFFH ( fairness & families phewt give me a break) I've unfortunately had them in my life for the last 4 years. Nothing excuses neglect of a child, be it by the parents or by cps - Nothing, and the injury or death by any child while under a case worker , they should be held personally responsible, maybe then they'd do a better job. They need to remember the shite parent is not the client - the child is the client. My Case workers have made this mistake .
Victoria cps has also recently had child pedophilia workers found in their departments with images of child molestations on his phone. Clean up your act , do your actual job & remember your job is to help the kids.
