First downing of an enemy drone by the Serbian Army

Yesterday the President of Serbia and Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces, Aleksandar Vučić, issued an order to immediately shoot down all enemy drones flying in the Airspace of central Serbia.
Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic ordered the immediate shoot down of all "enemy drones" detected in Serbian airspace, ordering the takeoff of MiG-29 fighters to track down any drones, according to Serbian state media.

According to Serbian media, immediately after the MiG-29s took off, the drones were withdrawn to Kosovo Airspace

Serbia and Kosovo are again on the brink of conflict with the Serbian Armed Forces implementing the order of the President of Serbia, Vucic, and shooting down an enemy drone that entered the Serbian EAC from Kosovo and was filming military installations in the town of Raska, 250 kilometers southwest of Belgrade.

It is the first downing of a drone by the Serbian Army's electronic warfare system. The wreckage of the drone has been sent for analysis to determine if it belongs to Kosovo or a NATO country.

Serbia stressed that the drones were entering its airspace from Kosovo amid rising tensions between the two countries.
Several drones have entered Serbian airspace from Kosovo over the past three days , Serbia's defense minister said on Wednesday.
