Not the world's wisdom (1 Corinthians 2:1-7)

When we try and live by the world's wisdom when we have died to it - remember as Paul put in Galatians, we are dead to the world and its interests and they are dead to us- will only cause us to get lost in the thicket. It's like being asked to find a place using a broken compass- a gps with no batteries. We need to get fueled up with truth and that isn't going to happen listening to the world. HE fills us up as we spend time with HIM. Think about how any relationship works, if you don't spend any time together then there won't be one. More time together, deeper and greater the relationship. So too here, that whole in the mirror darkly, (we'll get to where it is in the Bible, I really hope it's in the NLT cause it's so apropos, it's but a little of the glory to come. So that even when we are healed of cancer or a broken body, a broken heart, it too is but a slice and taste of the Real and Glory that is to come when HE returns. HE makes us whole, HE is the author and finisher of our faiths, right? So if we cannot write a word of our own without HIM writing it first, then why do we try to force HIS hand while HE is editing that in our lives which needs to be corrected so we have the nature which lets us spend reality with HIM.

Romans 10:9, not 8:28; 8:28 is: God causes all things to work together for the good of those who love God and are called according to His purpose for them. I'm still learnding the addresses. ^.^

(The sun isn't a bad thing, get to close to it and not be of it (it's nature and characteristics) and be destroyed. Here too, but in a mirror darkly. -The unholy, the dark, like when the light is turned on and shadows and darkness vanish, so too will that which is not of HIS nature: Dead to ourselves and so made alive in HIM)
