Disney Says X-Men & Star Wars Was "Too White" | New Leaks w/ WDW Pro

New information from Disney merchandise partners tell another sad tale of affairs inside the House of Mouse. Disney is overwhelmingly focused on Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion over competent story telling. It's the first (meaningless) aspect they coalesce all projects around, and the introduction of the X-Men will likely be no different. Even Disney Lucasfilm Star Wars ( Kathleen Kennedy's great failure ) has been (obviously) corrupted by soft bigotry. Hollywood believes that audiences are so shallow and superficial that they almost solely identify with skin color and/or ethnicity. But declining box office returns and merchandise sales are starting to show them a different picture.

Hollywood seems to lazy to bother making compelling original characters anymore in the age of high-budget, bad remakes.

The merchandise industry seems to be loosing patience as more and more forced products collect dust on shelves and landfills.

Did you know that Obi Wan Kenobi was too white for Lucasfilm at first? Yeah. True. And too male. That's why the story shifted away from Luke Skywalker and focused on Leia instead. It's also why the non-selling character of Reva was forced into the story like a thorn. There was nothing organic about it. Lucasfilm decided Obi Wan needed more diversity and it was their task to figure out how to shove it in there whether the character was well-crafted or not. Perhaps it would have been better if the incompetent Lucasfilm Story Group had take more time and talent to actually create a Reva that wasn't so plastic and comically juvenile in a show that was ... well... comically juvenile.
