Alberta Premier Danielle Smith takes a shot at Klaus Schwab and the World Economic Forum

"I find it distasteful when billionaires brag about how much control they have over political leadership - like the head of this organization [WEF] has," said Alberta's new premier, Danielle Smith.

"I think that's insulting. The people who should be running the government are the people who vote for it. And the people who vote for me and my colleagues, or people who live in Alberta and are affected by our decisions.

Until this organization stops bragging about how much control it has over political leaders, I have no interest in working with it. I am focused here in Alberta on solving problems for Albertans with the mandate of Albertans.
